An aggressive tread on a large volume carcass designed for good traction but fast enough for racers. Large block shaped shoulder studs bite into fast corners with many edges. The tread centre has bevelled studs to minimise rolling resistance. With its wide range of models, the Ardent meets all the needs of a fast tyre from touring to AllMountain and Enduro to freeriding. From March 2019, several wire versions in 2.25 and 2.40 width are also available.

Dual compound
Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the properties of the tyres.

Exo Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and very flexible. The performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of a puncture also decreases. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other tubeless ready tyres. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that the tubeless mounting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions even with the first inflation and with little liquid.
