In kaum einem Fahrradsegment ist aktuell mehr Bewegung als bei den E-Bikes. Neue Akku- und Motorentechnik, smarte Steuerung und die immer bessere Integration der elektrischen Antriebsunterstützung geben dem E-Bike kräftigen Rückenwind. Moderne City-, Trekking und Mountainbike-Modelle haben längst das angestaubte Image des „Alte-Leute-Rades“ abstreifen können. Denn treten muss man schließlich doch selbst. Nur gibt der Tritt in die Pedale etwas mehr Power frei als gewohnt. Wozu man den Extraschub nutzten möchte bleibt jedem selbst überlassen: Um ins Büro zu pendeln ohne verschwitzt am Arbeitsplatz zu sitzen. Um Radtouren in Angriff zu nehmen, die man sich sonst nicht zugetraut hätte. Oder um auf Feierabend-Runden den Hausberg in Rekordzeit hinaufzufliegen und so einfach mehr Trails fahren zu können. In jedem Fall geben uns E-Bikes mehr Zeit im Sattel.
